Maritime Patrols Halt Chinese Boat Infiltrations into South Korean Waters

South Korean Coast Guard patrols have blocked a series of illegal entries by Chinese nationals over eight years. Between September 2019 and May 2024, 31 individuals were intercepted while trying to reach Tai-an County using small craft, with the most recent seizure on May 25 involving repeat offender Dong Guanghai.
