Kaja Kallas urges stronger EU‑Saudi naval cooperation after attack

Estonia's Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas, who heads the EU's foreign policy team, labelled the Riyadh airport bombing as a "terrifying terrorist incident". She emphasized the need for tighter coordination between the EU’s Red Sea naval mission and the Saudi‑led maritime coalition. Kallas said she is in constant contact with her Saudi counterpart and believes expanding joint naval patrols is essential for regional stability and for safeguarding international shipping lanes.
