The IHRF called for swift justice, emphasizing, ‘Hospitals and care facilities are sanctuaries for the weak. Striking them fills us with profound sorrow and demands action.’
India’s foreign ministry condemned the assault as an outrageous violation, pointing to Pakistan’s desperate attempts to mask domestic woes with aggression beyond its borders. The timing during Ramadan—a period of peace and reflection for Muslims worldwide—makes it particularly reprehensible.
