Jayashankar Holds Talks with Bahrain Foreign Minister on Regional Issues

Earlier in Manama, Minister S. Jayashankar met Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al‑Jayyani. The two officials exchanged views on the evolving geopolitical landscape of the Gulf region and explored ways to reinforce their bilateral partnership.

Jayashankar praised Bahrain’s efforts in ensuring the welfare of the Indian community and affirmed India’s willingness to collaborate on regional security challenges. The conversation also touched upon trade opportunities and mutual support in multilateral forums.

Both sides agreed to maintain close diplomatic channels and to coordinate on issues affecting the broader Middle East, paving the way for a more resilient partnership.
