Jaishankar, EU officials highlight trade, technology, and maritime security

In addition to his talks with President Costa, the Indian foreign minister met Kaja Kaas‑Lauritsen, Vice‑President of the European Commission, and the EU’s High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy. The quartet discussed the volatile geopolitical climate in West Asia, the necessity of maintaining peace, and the imperative of protecting maritime routes. Both sides expressed a shared vision of strengthening the India‑EU strategic partnership and building a more reliable global supply chain.
