Israeli soldiers raided the home of Oscar-winning Palestinian director Basel Adra in the West Bank, questioned his wife, and inspected her phone. Adra reported that the Israeli forces also targeted his village, resulting in injuries to two of his brothers and a cousin. Adra stated he went to the hospital with his injured relatives, where he was informed by family members from the village that nine Israeli soldiers had stormed their home. The soldiers questioned his wife, Suha, about his whereabouts and examined her phone while their nine-month-old daughter was present. Adra also mentioned that one of his uncles was briefly detained. He spent the night outside the village, unable to return home or see his family because soldiers had surrounded the area, fearing his own detention. The Israeli army stated that soldiers were present in the village following stone-throwing incidents by Palestinians that injured two Israeli citizens. The army confirmed that its soldiers remained in the village, conducting searches and interrogating residents.
