Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has issued an ultimatum to Hamas. Katz stated on X, ‘Today, a powerful storm will rage in the skies of Gaza City, and the roofs of terrorist strongholds will shake. This is the final warning to Gaza and Hamas’s murderers and rapists: release the hostages and lay down your arms, or Gaza will be destroyed, and you will be annihilated.’ Katz further indicated that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are executing their plans. Preparations are underway to broaden military operations to defeat Gaza. This statement arrives amid Israel’s preparations for a major offensive aimed at capturing Gaza City. Israeli attacks have already forced approximately 1 million Palestinians to evacuate from Gaza.
