Iran Says It Will Hit US Ships Maintaining Strait Blockade

Iran's leadership has warned that the United States will face serious danger if it persists with a naval blockade in the Hormuz Strait. Senior advisor Mohsen Rejai told state media that any U.S. warship trying to bypass Iran's prescribed corridor will be considered a legitimate target. He also noted that Iran will not tolerate continued U.S. pressure in the waterway and will strike at American vessels and installations if the blockade does not end.
