Iran‑Linked Drone Assault Targets US Assets in Region, Kuwait Confirms

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps released a statement on Sepa News saying its forces used drones to hit a large weapons warehouse, a Patriot air‑defence system and an MQ‑9 Reaper hanger at the U.S.‑operated Ali Al Salim air base in Kuwait. The group said the action was a response to what it described as American interference in the Strait of Hormuz.

Kuwait’s army, however, reported that a separate drone incident at the Abdali border crossing caused only material loss and no loss of life. Security teams acted swiftly to cordon off the site, assess damage and remove debris, following standard safety protocols.
