Iran Embassy in India Accuses Israel of Deadly Attack on State Broadcaster

The Iranian Embassy in India has strongly condemned an alleged attack on Iran’s state radio and television building, attributing it to Israel. The embassy reported that the attack resulted in the deaths and injuries of numerous Iranian journalists. Sharing details via an X post, the embassy labeled the act as ‘criminal’ and a violation of international regulations, urging independent media in India to condemn the incident. The embassy’s statement included a photo depicting thick smoke rising from the targeted building. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian also voiced Iran’s resolve against Israeli actions, stating the country’s commitment to standing firm. Simultaneously, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of four senior Iranian intelligence officials in Tehran, including the Head of the IRGC’s Intelligence Organization, in a separate incident.
