Iran Accuses United States of Breaching MoU, Halts Its Own Duties

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, told state television that the United States has failed to honour nearly all of its obligations under the June MoU with Tehran. Because of what he described as “systematic violations,” Iran has temporarily suspended its side of the agreement. Gharibabadi added that Iran’s immediate priority is safeguarding its national security and that any further dialogue will only resume once the United States demonstrates a genuine willingness to adhere to the terms it signed.
