Investment Deals Worth 1.23 Billion Yuan Signed at AI Plus Event

The closing night of the "Winning in AI Plus" second season turned into a bustling marketplace for venture capital. Representatives from leading Chinese investment institutions gathered in Hangzhou to formalise partnerships with AI startups emerging from the competition.

In total, 36 investment proposals were signed, amounting to approximately 1.23 billion yuan in committed capital. The deals covered a variety of sectors, including fintech AI, intelligent manufacturing, and smart city solutions.

Thirteen of the participating companies also entered into agreements to establish operational bases in Hangzhou, taking advantage of the city’s supportive ecosystem, tax incentives and access to research institutions.

These financial commitments are expected to fuel product scaling, talent recruitment and international market entry for the selected AI innovators, reinforcing China’s broader goal of leading global AI development.
