Investigation Ongoing After Deadly Assault on Jordanian Airfield

According to statements from the Pentagon, an enemy assault on Jordan’s Muwaffaq Salti air base resulted in the deaths of two U.S. service members. First Lieutenant Tyler James Feihan, assigned to the 55th Air Defense Artillery Regiment’s second battalion, and Private Isabella Gonzales of the 57th Air Defense Artillery Regiment’s first battalion, were both killed while performing their duties. Gonzales, from Texas, died on July 17; Feihan, from Hawaii, died on July 18. The investigation into the cause and perpetrators of the attack is still ongoing, with no further details released.
