International rights groups pressured as Hindu killings continue in Bangladesh

The latest alleged murder of a retired Hindu teacher’s family in Bangladesh has sparked criticism not only from the Vishva Hindu Parishad but also from global human‑rights observers. VHP national spokesperson Vinod Bansal described the incident as “extremely concerning” and urged the Bangladeshi government to enforce the toughest possible response.

Bansal pointed out that the killings reflect a growing climate of intolerance, questioning how long the cycle of violence will persist. He urged the authorities to conduct a thorough inquiry and ensure the culprits are punished.

He further called out international human‑rights organizations for what he termed a “disappointing silence,” demanding that they speak up and defend the rights of Hindus facing persecution in Bangladesh.

The VHP’s demand stresses the need for a decisive end to the series of murders that target the Hindu minority.
