International Creators Flood Aksu Region to Showcase Uyghur Culture

A diverse group of influencers from eleven nations, including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Poland, Greece, Serbia and Croatia, arrived in Aksu to participate in the “Meet in Xinjiang This Summer” campaign. Multilingual anchors from China Media Group joined them, ensuring content could reach audiences worldwide.

The creators highlighted the Uyghur community’s daily life, traditional cuisine, and vibrant festivals, while also exploring the region’s natural beauty—rolling deserts, snow‑capped mountains, and orchards bursting with apricots and grapes. Many spoke of the unique experiences they anticipated, from wandering the old town’s narrow alleys to sharing meals with local families.

The overarching goal of the initiative is to present a Xinjiang that embodies unity, prosperity, development, openness and inclusivity, using authentic storytelling crafted from an international perspective.
