International aid flows to Nepal as Apple joins nations supporting flood victims

Beyond Apple’s financial support, several countries have mobilised resources for Nepal’s disaster response. India, a neighbor and long‑time partner, has dispatched two consignments of humanitarian supplies—first 10 tonnes on Wednesday, followed by an additional 37.5 tonnes on Thursday. The aid, handed over by India’s ambassador to Nepal, includes food, medical kits, and temporary shelter kits for families affected by the flash flood. Combined, these contributions aim to alleviate immediate suffering while laying groundwork for longer‑term recovery.
