Infrastructure Ravaged as Nepal’s Bhote Koshi River Swells

The flash flood caused severe damage to Nepal's transport network. Nineteen motorable bridges have been swept away and roughly 40 kilometres of paved road are reported damaged. Multiple government buildings, security installations and hydro‑electric facilities along the Nepal‑China border suffered heavy losses. Officials are still compiling a full estimate of property damage and economic impact.
