Indian crew rescued after Houthi assault on 'Faisal Nure Olia' near Yemen

A coordinated operation by Yemen’s coast guard and naval forces saved all personnel aboard the cargo ship "Faisal Nure Olia" after it was hit by a Houthi‑controlled explosive boat about 13 nautical miles south of the port city of Hodeidah. The Indian‑flagged vessel sank, but the 14 people on board, including 13 Indian nationals, were brought to safety and provided with medical assistance. The National Resistance Forces (NRF) in Yemen confirmed that no fatalities were reported. New Delhi thanked Yemeni authorities for their prompt assistance and called for an end to the targeting of commercial shipping in the Red Sea.
