Strategic Petroleum Reserves and Gas Cooperation Deepen Between India and UAE

New Delhi, September 12 — During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s May 2026 visit to the UAE, both nations agreed to increase the UAE’s contribution to India’s strategic petroleum reserves and to explore a joint strategic gas storage facility, strengthening energy security for both sides.
