India raises concerns over alleged force use in Pakistan‑occupied Kashmir

India’s Ministry of External Affairs expressed alarm over the reported coercive tactics employed by Pakistani authorities in POK. Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Pakistan has resorted to police crackdowns, internet bans, obstruction of essential supplies and the use of force against vulnerable civilians instead of addressing genuine grievances.

The statement highlighted that the local population’s legitimate concerns are being suppressed, further inflaming the volatile situation in the region.
