India‑Kyrgyzstan Partnership Reviewed at SCO Council Session in Kyrgyzstan

Cholpon‑Ata, Kyrgyzstan – During the SCO Foreign Ministers’ Council, India’s Kirti Vardhan Singh met Jeenbek Kulubayev to evaluate the trajectory of the strategic partnership between New Delhi and Bishkek. The ministers exchanged views on progress made in trade, cultural exchange, and joint security initiatives.

Singh’s statement on the X platform emphasized a shared resolve to deepen collaboration and to pursue joint projects that align with both nations’ development strategies. He also expressed optimism about concluding key policy documents that will be presented at the SCO summit later this year.

The meeting formed part of a broader itinerary for Singh, who arrived in Bishkek on Wednesday with expectations of “fruitful discussions” on issues of regional and global significance.
