New Delhi, August 15 – The Indian High Commission in Bangladesh raised the tricolor on Independence Day, symbolising the enduring bond between the two neighbours. A statement posted by the mission described the early‑morning flag‑hoisting as a reminder that the Indian sunrise greets Bangladesh’s shores, and that the historic journey of the tricolor must now be carried forward by India and Bhutan.
