India Sends Fifth Airlift of Relief Supplies to Flood‑Stricken Nepal

On September 2, the Indian Air Force dispatched its fifth airlift of humanitarian aid to flood‑hit Nepal. A cargo aircraft landed at Kathmandu with approximately 5.5 tonnes of medical supplies, including antibiotics, analgesics, surgical kits and other essential drugs. The flight also carried an 11‑member rescue team and more than six tonnes of modern rescue equipment. To date, India has provided around 74 tonnes of relief material to Nepal, reinforcing the bilateral disaster‑response partnership.
