India Continues Support: 95 Tonnes Aid Sent Over Seven Flights to Nepal

Since the floods struck Nepal on August 26, India has consistently sent relief material. By the time of the latest flight, a total of 95 tonnes of aid have been delivered through seven separate aircraft missions. In addition to the material, Indian forensic specialists are working in two Kathmandu laboratories, analyzing more than 1,200 DNA samples to help identify missing persons.

Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal reiterated India's solidarity with the Nepalese people, emphasizing that the two nations share a close friendship and that India will keep providing assistance throughout the rescue, relief, and rebuilding phases.
