India sends C‑130 with 11 tonnes of relief, forensic specialists join Nepal search

A C‑130 transport plane from the Indian Air Force touched down in Nepal carrying over 11 tonnes of relief supplies, a technical rescue team and forensic equipment. The flight marks the fourth convoy dispatched after the catastrophic floods that swept central Nepal and the Nepal‑Tibet border on August 26. More than 700 deaths have been recorded and over 2,000 people remain missing, prompting a massive joint search and rescue effort.
