The two ministers examined the 18 agreements signed at the Australia‑India Annual Summit in Melbourne, including a defence cooperation pact and a civilian nuclear arrangement for uranium supply. Both sides stressed the need to translate the signed documents into actionable projects.

Wong praised the depth of the bilateral relationship and signalled further collaboration in education, renewable energy and people‑to‑people exchange.
