India and ASEAN Urged to Boost Collaboration in Trade, Digital and Green Growth

Jaishankar emphasized that, despite uncertainties, both India and ASEAN remain optimistic about their future. He called for expanded cooperation in trade and investment, mobility of talent, technology, digital services and artificial intelligence. The minister added that green development and sustainability, as well as improved connectivity, must be central pillars of the partnership. Broad collaboration, he said, will diversify supply chains, lower risks and spur economic activity across the region.
