India Among Israel's Strongest Friends, Says Netanyahu

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, told a U.S. news outlet that India is one of the strongest friends Israel enjoys worldwide. He stressed that while former President Donald Trump has long been a major ally, the list of Israel’s partners extends to nations like India, whose population and digital enthusiasm translate into significant political capital.

The Israeli leader cited the high level of engagement on his Facebook page from Indian users as proof of the deepening bond. He also disclosed that many foreign leaders, including those from Asian and African states, are keen on collaborating with Israel in sectors such as defence, cyber resilience and artificial intelligence.

Netanyahu reiterated shared perspectives with the United States on Iran, assuring that Israel’s policy will remain firm regardless of the status of any nuclear agreement between Tehran and Washington.
