India Sends Aid as Nepal Battles Widespread Flood Damage

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has dispatched emergency assistance to Nepal following the catastrophic flood. Nepalese officials praised the rapid response, describing it as a true neighborly gesture.

Former Finance Minister Barshaman Pun highlighted the speed of the relief message and material support, thanking India for its generosity.

Aid includes food packets, bottled water, medical supplies and additional helicopter capacity to supplement Nepal’s own fleet.

The bilateral cooperation is seen as a crucial factor in addressing the humanitarian crisis that continues to unfold across the affected districts.
