India-Afghanistan Partnership Irritates Pakistan, Says Foreign Ministry

Over the past few months, diplomatic channels between New Delhi and Kabul have warmed, highlighted by the Taliban’s agriculture minister’s trip to India where he proclaimed a common DNA linking the two nations' peoples. Pakistan’s army spokesperson seized on the comment, accusing India of destabilising the region and accusing the Taliban of colluding with New Delhi.

India’s foreign ministry rebuffed the accusations, calling them an expression of Pakistan’s insecurity and a sign of desperation to halt the growing Indo‑Afghan partnership.
