IndiGo, Akasa extend Saudi flight cancellations to late October

Following the same security concerns, low‑cost carrier IndiGo announced on Thursday that it would cancel flights to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Medina until October 24. Akasa Air also extended the suspension of its Riyadh flights to October 24 and its Jeddah services to October 21. Both airlines pledged full refunds or no‑fee re‑booking for passengers whose journeys are disrupted. They reiterated that passenger and crew safety remains paramount and that any decision to resume flights will be taken only after a thorough review of the security situation.
