Beijing, 31 August – Import logistics continued a modest expansion, with the sector’s total value rising 1.8 percent during the first seven months of 2026 versus the same window in 2025. The increase was fueled by strong demand for high‑technology and electromechanical products.

While the overall growth rate stabilised, the cargo mix shifted noticeably toward these higher‑value categories, reflecting China’s ongoing import diversification and the importance of advanced goods in its economic roadmap.
