Hydropower Rescue Boosts Hope for Other Flood Survivors

The successful extraction of Kabir and Sanjay has rekindled optimism among dozens of families whose relatives remain missing in the flood‑hit hydro‑electric projects. Nepal Electricity Authority officials called the families to confirm the rescue and to inform them about the hospital transfer. According to the latest police update, at least 1,295 people have died and 4,898 are still unaccounted for.
