In a series of posts on the X platform, Houthi commander Yahya Sari reiterated the group’s demand that no airline, crew member, or passenger use Saudi Arabian airports or its flight corridors. While the warning applies to all airports across the kingdom, Sari explicitly excluded the airports serving the sacred sites of Al‑Maqam al‑Mukarram (Mecca) and Al‑Madinah al‑Munawwarah (Medina). The statement warned that any breach would be met with retaliation and that Saudi authorities would bear full responsibility for any further casualties.
