Yemen’s Houthi rebels launched a successful attack against Israel. On Sunday, a Yemeni drone penetrated Israel’s air defense and targeted Ramon Airport. Consequently, air traffic was halted, and numerous flights were postponed. Footage circulating on social media depicts an explosion followed by smoke rising from the scene. Later, Israeli media reported that the fourth drone launched from Yemen struck a passenger terminal at Ramon Airport, resulting in injuries to two people. According to reports, a total of four drones were launched from Yemen towards Israel on Sunday. While Israeli air defenses intercepted three of them, the fourth drone hit the terminal at Ramon Airport. Authorities are investigating the reasons behind the siren failure. The Israeli Airports Authority confirmed that air navigation at the airport has been suspended due to the attack.
