Stefanos Gikikas, who is scheduled to attend the "SagarManthan – The Great Oceans Dialogue 2026," arrived in India on an official visit to reinforce bilateral maritime cooperation. In a prior meeting with Indian Ambassador Ravi Shankar in Athens on 1 October, Gikikas reiterated Greece’s dedication to strengthening ties with India at sea. The upcoming dialogue is expected to provide a platform for both nations to exchange best practices and coordinate on issues ranging from search‑and‑rescue operations to environmental protection.
