Government seeks amendment to ensure Imran Khan examined in state‑run tertiary hospital

The ministry plans to request a modification of the Supreme Court order so that Khan’s health assessment can be carried out at a government‑owned tertiary care centre. Tarar added that, with the court’s permission, specialists from other leading medical institutions could be included in a medical board to oversee the inmate’s treatment, provided the board’s composition complies with existing law.
