Ukraine’s foreign minister reported that Russian air‑launched glide bombs have caused 2,500 civilian deaths or injuries in frontline regions over the past eight months. This tally marks a 62 percent jump compared with the same timeframe a year earlier.
The minister said the attacks are part of a broader strategy that includes intensified strikes on urban centers, power grids and other civil infrastructure. He warned that the growing use of such weapons makes the conflict increasingly lethal for ordinary people.
Sibiy urged nations with leverage over Moscow to hold Russia accountable for violating international humanitarian law and the UN Charter.
