India’s successful hosting of the 2026 Artificial Intelligence Summit set the stage for the next gathering in Geneva in 2027. Swiss President Guy Parmelin, who met with Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh alongside Ambassador Maya Tissaffi, reiterated the importance of continuity in dialogue on AI ethics, regulation and research.
Both sides agreed that the twin summits will provide a seamless exchange of policy ideas and technical know‑how, reinforcing the notion that science transcends borders. The upcoming Geneva event is expected to attract leaders from Europe, Asia and beyond, further cementing the Indo‑Swiss role as a conduit for global tech cooperation.
