FTA Expected to Boost Manufacturing, Services and Education Exports to New Zealand

According to Rouse, the forthcoming India‑New Zealand FTA will bring substantial benefits to key Indian industries. The manufacturing segment – including electronics, pharmaceuticals and machinery – will see tariff‑free access. Labour‑intensive sectors such as apparel, footwear and leather will also gain. In services, health, education, IT and related professional services are set to expand rapidly once the agreement is operational.
