Foreign Ministry Urges World to See Beyond Pakistan’s Hypocritical Rhetoric on Human Rights

In New Delhi, the Ministry of External Affairs pressed the international community to reject Pakistan’s façade of democratic practice in occupied Kashmir. Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said the narrative of “local polls” is disconnected from the reality of mass protests and indiscriminate killings by Pakistani security forces.

He warned that the Pakistani regime is using these bogus elections to mask a crackdown that has claimed over 90 lives since June. The ministry urged nations to look beyond Pakistan’s “human‑rights preaching” and hold the state responsible for the ongoing atrocities.
