Everest Legend Kami Rita Sherpa Achieves Historic 32nd Climb

Kami Rita Sherpa has once more demonstrated why he is known across the globe as the 'Everest Man'. On Sunday morning, the veteran Nepali climber completed his 32nd successful ascent of Mount Everest, setting a new personal and world record. According to Nepal’s Tourism Department, the 55-year-old summited at 10:12 a.m. local time while leading an expedition team from 14 Peaks Expedition. This achievement places even greater distance between Kami Rita and his nearest competitor, Pasang Dawa Sherpa, who has summited the peak 29 times. Beyond his records, Kami Rita remains a vocal advocate for environmental protection in the Himalayas, highlighting the impact of climate change on glaciers.
