Ethnic Unity Law Takes Effect in China After NPC Session

Beijing, July 1 – The Ethnic Unity and Progress Promotion Law officially entered into force following its passage at the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress. The comprehensive act, containing 65 articles, sets out provisions for building a shared spiritual home, encouraging inter‑ethnic exchange, and ensuring equitable growth. It details the ideological guidance, foundational principles, core actions, and supervisory measures that will drive national unity and development in the new age.
