Egypt-India Strategic Ties Strengthened in Series of High-Level Talks
A series of high‑level engagements in Cairo this week reinforced the strategic partnership between Egypt and India. Ambassador Suresh Reddy first met Deputy Foreign Minister Mohamed Abu Bakr Saleh, followed by discussions with Industry Minister Khalid Hashim and Labor Minister Hassan Raddad.
The sessions covered a wide spectrum of cooperation – from industrial development and investment facilitation to skill development and labor mobility. Both sides stressed the need for a robust framework that encourages technology transfer, joint ventures and a business‑friendly climate for Indian firms operating in Egypt.
These talks are part of a broader push to translate diplomatic goodwill into tangible economic outcomes, with each ministry tasked to submit actionable proposals within the next quarter.
