Education and Youth at Heart of Iran's Security Strategy, President Says

President Masoud Pejshakian, speaking at the opening of several educational institutions near Tehran on 17 October, placed education and the younger generation at the core of Iran’s defence blueprint. He argued that a nation’s ability to deter aggression hinges on the quality of its scientific talent and the moral character of its citizens.

Pejshakian praised recent breakthroughs in missile technology and other advanced sectors, describing them as a testament to Iran’s human capital. He urged provincial governors, imams, and families to work together in shaping children who are sensitive, ethical, creative, and ready for constructive dialogue. According to the president, such a generation will address national challenges through deeds rather than slogans.

The Assembly of Experts added its voice, warning against complacency and calling for a governance model that is more efficient, just, and responsive to the people, while also promoting national unity.
