Drone Waves Target US Installations in Kuwait, Bahrain Amid Rising Tensions

Iranian state media reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched a successive wave of explosive drones against U.S. installations in Kuwait and Bahrain. In Kuwait, the drones were said to have struck a Patriot air‑defence system, an ammunition depot and a radar site. In Bahrain, a separate drone swarm hit a communications array and another radar installation.

The Iranian army claimed that these unmanned attacks were part of a broader retaliation for continued American strikes on southern Iranian territories. Defense officials in the United Arab Emirates said their air‑defence network was actively intercepting incoming missiles and drones, noting audible explosions across the country as proof of successful interceptions.

Local authorities in Bahrain and Qatar warned civilians to stay indoors, activate emergency sirens, and avoid unnecessary movement while the situation remains volatile.
