Extra Commissioner Vijanta Goyal Arya announced that Delhi traffic police are deploying drones to obtain real‑time aerial views of traffic conditions across the capital. The drones monitor major intersections, busy corridors, and congestion hotspots, delivering live data that helps identify emerging bottlenecks and enable swift intervention.

Aerial assessments also assist teams in managing queues at interstate bus terminals, the New Delhi Railway Station, and other high‑traffic transport hubs. By analyzing real‑time footage, police can adjust signal timings, deploy additional manpower, and improve overall traffic coordination during the summit period.
