Chinese manufacturers of p‑nitrotoluene have raised concerns over a persistent price decline of roughly 60% in EU‑origin supplies over the past three years. In response, the Ministry of Commerce initiated an anti‑dumping investigation on Saturday, citing a formal application from the industry. The agency highlighted that, while import quantities stayed flat from 2022 to 2025, the falling prices have inflicted material loss on China’s domestic production capacity.
