Diwali Festivities Spread Across Embassies, Says UAE Vice President

Denmark’s ambassador to India and non‑resident ambassador to Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives, Rasmas Abildgaard Christensen, highlighted how a single lamp can spark big change, reminding everyone of friendship, kindness and unity – values shared by both Denmark and India. The Japanese Embassy hosted a special celebratory dinner, wishing that the festival’s light brings peace and prosperity to every home. Ambassador Ono Keichi of Japan noted that sharing Diwali with Indian and Japanese colleagues made his third Diwali in India especially memorable. These messages underline that Diwali has evolved into a global celebration of light, happiness and solidarity.
