In a significant step towards deepening bilateral bonds, China’s Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s Special Envoy for China Affairs, Khalid bin Ahmed Al Mubarak, in Beijing on March 19.
During the discussions, Ding Xuexiang noted the strengthening political trust between the two nations, crediting the visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He pointed to tangible achievements in practical collaborations across diverse areas and reaffirmed China’s strategic commitment to these relations. Ding pledged to effectively execute the important agreements forged at the highest levels.
Advocating for intensified high-level interactions, Ding outlined China’s enthusiasm to partner with the UAE in key domains like energy, investments, and trade. The two sides agreed to work together to advance their comprehensive strategic partnership, aiming to deliver sustained benefits to their citizens.
